Log up to 2.5 hours of flight instruction and aeronautical experience toward your private pilot in the AATD! Learn the cockpit set up, preflight checks, starting the engine and taxiing before you ever get to the plane. Practice take off’s over and over, fly in the traffic pattern, make your first few landing attempts and more. Even though you can only log 2.5 hours, you can fly the AATD as much as needed to become proficient in certain maneuvers. Having trouble with short field take off’s? Do 5 of them in 5 minutes in the AATD, or ONE every 10 to 12 minutes in the airplane. You get the idea!
This is where the PFC AATD really shines! Log up to 20 hours of flight training toward your instrument rating. Save thousands! Practice all kinds of approaches, instrument and system failures, Aeronautical Decision Making (Including Risk Management) and more.
Need to maintain your instrument currency? Get your 6 approaches, navigation, and tracking done in the AATD! Ask about our $199 currency deal! This MUST be done BEFORE your IFR currency expires. Remember, you are no longer IFR current after 6 months if you have not met the recency requirements. You then have a 6 month grace period in which to get your currency completed, but you may not act as Pilot In Command during this time. If your grace period expires, you must then have an Instrument Proficiency Check to regain your IFR currency. Currency is NOT pass/fail! You just keep training to proficiency.
Need an instrument proficiency check? We've got you covered! Everything can be done in the AATD EXCEPT for the circle to land approach and landing. That part must be done in a real airplane. Just one circling approach to a landing. We have a local aircraft and instructor for this task. Save hundreds over flying the airplane! An IPC is not pass/fail! We just keep working until you are instrument proficient. A 6-hour package is $799, and includes 5.5 hours sim instruction in the AATD, and 4 hours of ground instruction Realize that this may or may not get you proficient, and any additional instruction will be $99/hour in the AATD.
It is also possible (If you are really on the ball!) that you could do the IPC in less time. So you may certainly also pay as you go, you just don't get the discount.
Our PFC AATD can be used to log 50 hours of training toward the requirements of the Commercial Pilot Certificate! Save thousands! Flight planning, execution, and aeronautical decision making can be honed using real life scenarios. Practice trouble-shooting abnormals, max crosswind landings, icing scenarios and much more. Get more out of the time you need for the Commercial certificate with less money!
Marker Inbound's PFC CR-12 AATD can be used to log 25 hours of the 75 hours of aeronautical experience toward your ATP certificate. Gain aeronautical knowledge and experience toward your ATP for a fraction of the cost. Fly a twin Barron or Seminole for the same price as a single! A real Barron 58 will cost you over $300 an hour just for the aircraft! Fly ours, WITH an instructor for $99/hr!
The sky is literally the limit. Practice intense advanced emergency scenarios: How else does one get experience in severe icing or turbulence? You can also practice almost every possible type of electronic navigation and much much more!
Instruction in the AATD is $99 per hour of Hobbs time.
